Share Draft Accounts
Checking accounts at a credit union are called Share Draft Accounts. At PREFERRED
FINANCIAL FCU, the name of your account is not the only thing that sets it apart from bank checking accounts. There is no minimum balance requirement and no monthly or per-check fees. You can even make purchases from your account with a Visa Check Card at no additional cost.
A minimum deposit of $10.00 is required when opening
a share draft account.

Share Certificates
Share certificate accounts offer the saver a rate of interest that is typically higher than the rate for regular share accounts. Interest earned on a share certificate is paid to the saver upon maturity of the certificate. Share certificates are typically available for a minimum of just $1,000. Rates, amounts, and maturity periods will vary with market conditions. Ask a member of our staff about what type of certificate is right for your and your savings.
